Claudine

Written By: Site Default - Jan• 23•09

She peers through her windows

On rivers flowing by.

Claudine’s days are floating

On a hazy azure sky.

Claudine lives in walls,

Breathing plastered clay.

Names she recalls,

Measurements neglected by the day.

The boards on the ceiling

Force rain on her face.

Swirling cracks she’s mending,

Floorboards widen with each pace.

Claudine likes her photos,

Elusive landscapes, babies, fruit.

She might just take another,

Yet the walls remain quite mute.
